Choose Your Own Adventure Character

Join us for an action-packed, three-day drama workshop – ‘Choose Your Own Adventure Character’. In this program you’ll not only learn acting skills, you’ll create your very own character – which YOU get to perform as part of a play, on stage in our theatre! You’ll also get to explore drama through games, acting exercises, and storytelling. Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to be taught by trained professional actors!

Your Favourite Movie In Six Seconds Flat

Love the world of Tik Tok? Love acting? In this two-day workshop, you’ll combine ideas from both these worlds and work out how to perform your favourite movie on stage…in just six seconds! Everyone’s got a favourite movie – or maybe a few favourites – so you’ll have just what you need to start thinking about what makes a good story and how to boil it down to its essence. Through a range of improvisation activities, theory and exercises, you’ll be able to pinpoint what makes your movie tick, and how to share it with others.

How To Audition For Musical Theatre

If you love singing, dancing and acting, you’ll love our Legally Blonde Jrmusical, coming up in Term 4… but if you’d like some pointers on how to audition for a lead role in the show, come along to this holiday workshop. Even if you’re not planning to join the cast of Legally Blonde, you’re still very welcome to learn about acting, singing and dancing – the techniques you’ll learn about auditioning for roles apply to any show around Canberra, or even the big professional shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne! This program is taught by our Head of Musical Theatre, Amy Orman, who has performed in New York and Chicago, as well as Australia.
