Calthorpes’ House Open Day
Calthorpes’ House re-opens after extensive conservation works. Celebrate with free entry, extended opening hours, family activities and special tours – including a ‘Behind the Scenes’ tour led by Furniture and Interiors Conservator, Greg Peters and ACT Historic Places Collection Manager, Jennifer Elton.
Hear the pianola playing and enjoy a warm scone baked in the original wood oven. Kids can build a cubby house on the lawn and make their own wrapping paper using stamps by Megan Hinton and inspired by the Calthorpe Collection.
